Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › WP eMember Troubleshooting › Two Logins forms displayed when using shortcode
Hello,
If you visit “http://www.metalman.me/login/”, you can see that there are two login forms that are displayed. The top one for eMember, but the bottom one is for the actual WordPress installation.
I would like to remove the bottom form or hide it. All I have used in that page is the shortcode for Login form as per video tutorial.
Thanks,
Jaimil
eMember only place the login form for the membership plugin. I have a feeling your theme is automatically placing the WordPress login form in that page.
Do the following:
1) Edit the “Login” page and take out the shortcode that shows eMember login.
2) Now save the page and view it
3) What do you see?
If you see that the WordPress login form is still there then that should prove that the membership plugin’s shortcode is not placing that form. Look in what your theme or plugin is doing (there are some plugins that like to automatically create page and place stuff there).
Solved the problem. It was “login” as my permalink that caused the theme to display default WordPress login form.
Thank you amin007 for hinting the problem.
