Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › Two entries for eMember_configs in wp_options table – can I delete/turn off one?
It’s that time again when I have to go through my client’s website with a fine toothed comb and pull out orphaned options, tables, etc to improve performance. While reviewing the options table, I found two entries for emember_configs, one is emember_configs and the second is emember_configs_v2.
I presume that I see this because I did a major site overhaul and upgrade a couple of years ago and the plugin upgrade added in an extra value.
Is it possible to turn off or delete one of these sets of options via Options Optimizer/phpMyAdmin or do I need them both to continue to function? It’s not throwing any errors but if it’s eating memory, it has to get cleaned up.
BTW, I have the same situation w/ estore.
Thanks!
Keep v2 and delete the other one (same goes for estore also). Keeping this one option in there won’t impact your site performance.
