Tagged: shipping options
Hi,
I’m setting up a store that sells both physical and digital Products.
For the physical ones, I’d like to have one shipping price for the UK (where I’m based) and one for the rest of the world. I know this can be done for the entire order using the Shipping Variation Option, but since some individual products cost a small amount to ship and others cost a lot more, I wondered if there is a better way to do this?
Would really appreciate some help please.
Iain.
You can maybe use a combination of the simple shipping option and the shipping variation:
Specify a shipping amount for each of your items. The smaller items can have lower shipping amount. The amount from the shipping variation will get applied on top of that.
So if you have item A with individual shipping amount of $5 and item B with amount $7. Then the final shipping cost for someone purchasing item A will be $5 + the shipping variation amount for the option they select. For item B that amount will be $7 + the shipping variation amount.
