Tweet for Download Addon – Twitter API update

I’ve heard from some customers that this plugin isn’t currently working, probably because of the Twitter API update. Is there anything we can do to sync them back up, or will we just have to wait for the plugin to be updated? Thanks!

The v1.0 API should still continue to work for a few more months. Obviously we will update the twitter addon so it works with the new v1.1 API before the current version stops working.

We did a test a few days ago and it was still working correctly. Did you do a test yourself?

Yeah, I’ve tested it. Here’s the error:

Could not tweet, please try again later: 410:{“errors”: [{“message”: “The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/overview.”, “code”: 68}]}

It looks like API 1.0 was retired on June 11th

We have just updated the tweet to download addon. So it should now work with the new twitter API. Please download a new copy of this addon from here:
