Really stuck trying to figure out the return URL for my ebook from Paypal. It doesn’t seem simple to me. Can anyone help?
Hi butterfly, what steps have you done so far and what is the actual problem you are getting from it all?
First of all, it should never take you that long to setup eStore. If you are confused or can’t figure something out simply post it on the forum and someone will give you guidance.
With that said, did you specify the return URL in the “Return URL” field of eStore’s settings menu? It should take you only 5 minutes to go through the settings option and determine which options you want to use and which ones you don’t.

Hello I can set up the product in my case a digital download of a magazine. I have successfully set up the emails, but the link that is there for download doesn’t work. I’m trying to get the link to go to a post on my website. I need to know how to do it in simple stupid terms. I’ve had others look at it and they are puzzled too.
“I’m trying to get the link to go to a post on my website” – If you want to redirect to a page when the encrypted link is clicked then you just have to keep the “Downloadable” checkbox unchecked for that product. This field is under the “Digital Content Details” section when you add or edit a product.
If you read the help text next to the “Downloadable” field you will see that it says the following:
“If checked the digital content will be offered as an anonymous download (the customer won’t know where it is coming from). If Unchecked the buyer will be redirected to the above URL when they click on the encrypted link”
Can you please double check this for me and let me know if you have that field checked or unchecked?
