MemberI am trying to use integration #2 with my nextgen galleries but I have not luck getting to work. I have setup the product template with variations. When I use the short code to show my gallery I know something is happening because all the images are posting in a straight line down. I don’t know whats going on and I have researched as much as I could to try and correct but no luck. Must be something very simple I am overlooking.
I just purchased because of the possibility of the nextgen integration but if I can’t get it to work won’t need to keep this plugin.

KeymasterHi, Please post a link to the page where you have the gallery so I can see what you have done and what is going wrong. What version of the plugins are you using?

MemberI’m really thinking about uploading each photo for downloading purpose and use the eStore fancy carts instead of integration but a lot of photos = a lot of work uploading. Bulk uploading is not the best either for eStore plugin

MemberI think I found whats wrong…. could it be that I haven’t accomplished the WP template modification
What NextGen Gallery Modification is needed?
We are going to use a custom template file for the NextGen gallery to display the shop:
Download the WP eStore template file for NextGen Gallery from here.
Unzip and upload the ‘gallery-wp-eStore.php’ file to the ‘view’ folder of the NextGen gallery plugin directory (nextgen-gallery/view/gallery-wp-eStore.php).

MemberI’m starting to figure it out. I entered php templates and the buy now with variations showed up. SO I’m getting some where. Another thing I did what change the short codes to just the ones nextgen provides in stead of [nggallery id=83 template=wp-eStore-auto] that wp eStore says to use
I’m going to change to add to cart now and see what happens there. Because buying one at a time is not cool.

MemberOk so I used the add to cart option and nothing is getting added to cart…. when I used the buy now option it sent me directly to paypal to pay for item. I’m stuck again

ModeratorHi, It’s good to hear that you got it to work. If anyone is having an issue with the WP eStore plugin setup please watch the “Getting Started” videos on the following page:

MemberNow that I have nextgen gallery integration working is there a way to choose if a gallery is part of eStore option or not. In other words if I have a gallery thats personal and I don’t want viewers having the option to purchase photo is that possible.
Hope I was clear enough

KeymasterYes, you can do that. You simply use your standard gallery shortcode like the following and it won’t involve eStore with that gallery:
[nggallery id=1]

ModeratorDoesn’t work
could you be a little more specific? It’s a nextGen gallery shortcode (it has nothing to do with eStore).
Did you replace the
id
with your actual gallery ID? Can I take a look at the page where you are trying to embed the gallery shortcode?May 28, 2013 at 6:03 pm #55813SlickVicENT
MembereStore + eStore gallery add on works when I use [nggallery id=1] no estore or [[nggallery id=1 template=wp-eStore-auto-addtocart] with eStore the only problem is that my nextgen gallery voting is disabled
so if I copy wp-cart-for-digital-products/view/gallery-wp-eStore-auto-addtocart.php into nextgen-gallery/view/gallery.php eStore will work just by using [nggallery id=1] so I don’t have the option to implement eStore when I want but nextgen gallery voting will work.
So it looks like I have to pick my poison here unless a tweak can be made for all 3 to work
