Hi,
we bought this plugin on the premise it could be fully translated as indicated on the support page. However the Checkout, cart, photo detail, Invoice, Lightbox pages stay in English with sometimes no string in the translate tool to be found or not being translated.
Can you please assist in telling me how to translate these important pages, most of our customers don’t understand English. I don’t care about the back-end, only front-end.
Thank you.
May 14, 2018 at 12:13 am #77812adminKeymasterThe translation strings are likely missing in the POT file. Which language are you using? Please share a link to the page where we can go and see the missing translations so we can update the plugin accordingly.
May 14, 2018 at 6:40 pm #77813koen_dbMemberlanguage: nl-be
allfoto.be/photogallery/ (demo setup)
I have already changed the photo detail page in the PHP file.
If you can provide me with a complete POT file, I will do the translation work.
Thanks for the fast response!
May 15, 2018 at 12:04 am #77814adminKeymasterWe should be able to give you a completed POT file once we can take a look.
Looks like your gallery is password protected. Can you please share the password for it so we can have a look?

May 16, 2018 at 12:40 am #77817adminKeymasterokay, here is a summary.
You should use a different template other than the template 9. That template uses an image button (not a text). If you want to translate the add to cart button, its better if you use a template that uses a text. We have a few gallery templates (pick one that uses a text for the button):
On the details page, I only see 2 items that are in english:
1) The text that says “Photo 1 of 5”
2) Print 10×15 cm
The 2nd item comes from the list you created in the plugin. You can enter any text you want by editing the price list in question.
On the cart page the following texts should be translated but I think the nl-be translation needs to be updated:
1) Item(s) successfully added
2) Your Shopping Cart
3) Pickup order from store
Is there any other text that I am missing?
Did you create a brand new translation file for your site or are you using the existing nl-be translation file?
May 16, 2018 at 11:31 pm #77818PeterMemberHi koen_db
I checked the POT file contained here in the plugin folders:
wp-photo-sellerlanguagesWPS.pot
This file is up to date and it contains the strings which you need to do the translations.
As mentioned previously, you will need to update the translations file for your language, ie, wp-photo-sellerlanguagesWPS-nl_BE.PO, by using the latest WPS.pot file.
When you update the translations in the WPS-nl_BE.PO, please let us know and send us both the WPS-nl_BE.PO and WPS-nl_BE.MO files so we can include them in the official release.
May 18, 2018 at 6:00 pm #77819koen_dbMemberI did use the existing translation, presuming it was the latest. Is there an option to extend this file rather than start over from scratch?
I will for the time being use the new POT file and translate as needed.
