[wp_eStore_transaction_result:end]
Used this on my Thank you page, but it doesn’t change when a purchase is made.
The encription is working fine on the associated email after test purchase.
What might I be doing wrong?
Thanks
BTW- Bought the whole product suite. Loving it so far. Can’t wait to get into it more. Thanks.
March 18, 2012 at 9:04 am #43147PeterMemberHi,
What do you mean by “it doesn’t change when a purchase is made”?
Have you enabled the “Enable Transaction Result Display” checkbox in your eStore settings page in the “Post Payment Processing Settings” section?
March 19, 2012 at 8:36 pm #43148LSM101MemberFor no apparent reason, this is all now working correctly. Next challenge: I’ve gone through all of my settings related to Aweber and this is not working.
I’ve set up a specific list for a specific product. I’ve checked with Aweber to confirm that my Paypal to Aweber app is set up right. I’ve followed your specific instructions on Paypal to eCommerce.
So now, when I test buying product 1 that is linked to aweber list smr-1@aweber.com- no new customer is added to aweber. If I test buying product 2 that is linked to smr-2@aweber, no new customer is added to aweber.
On the main settings screen for Aweber, I left that blank.
On the individual product page, i used smr-1@aweber.com for product 1 and smr-2@aweber.com for product 2.
What might I be missing?
March 19, 2012 at 8:51 pm #43149LSM101MemberAs a follow on to this. I’ve just discovered that Aweber is signing me (the seller) up to my subscriber list. Instead of signing up me (the buyer) using a different email address/ identity altogether. What are your thoughts on where I might be going wrong?
March 19, 2012 at 9:09 pm #43150LSM101MemberUmmm…. The more I posed the question to you, the more I was able to figure this whole thing out. Trial, Error, Test, Tweak. Success!!! Sorry to have bothered you. Your product rocks!
March 19, 2012 at 9:27 pm #43151LSM101MemberNext case. I have other products on other websites using Paypal and Aweber that have nothing to do with WPeStore. Will I now have to set up a custom parcer for each of those to have my paypal/aweber integration work? Seems as though some of what was working before is suddenly no longer working. Are your instructions based upon a Universal paypal to aweber integration, or is it proprietary to WPeStore.
March 19, 2012 at 10:46 pm #43152PeterMemberHi,
The instructions for adding eStore customers to your AWeber list are only applicable on the site where you have eStore installed.
Any external products and setups you may have will require separate consideration and have nothing whatsoever to do with your current eStore site.
