Tagged: counter, digits, Transaction ID
Hello,
please, is possible generate Transacion ID only as digits? I want use Transaction ID as Variable symbol for manual payment. Bank variable symbol must be only digit and maximum characters is 10.
Thank you.
The transaction ID can’t be digits only but I can give you a counter. The counter is an incremental number (example: 1, 2, 3 etc.) that gets incremented after every order.
You can use this counter as the “Variable Symbol” if you want. Will that work?
Perfect, counter will be better. Could you explain me, how to do it?
Thank you.
Please load a new build of the plugin from here (We just added this counter):

After the update simply use the following email tag instead of the transaction ID tag:
{counter}
Super, work it! Thank you very much for your quick and perfect support.
I know that this thread is old, but I’m running version 6.9.7.5 and want to know if the counter is available and if so, where can you set the beginning number? I have the PDF Receipt plugin and want to assign a “raffle” number to each receipt created, starting with a specific number. Thanks!
Use the {counter} tag.

Thank you, but I did not find any information on where I can set the starting counter number, for example, start counter at 6000 and go up from there for each transaction…
When I specify a “sales count” for a product and then purchase that product, the counter starts at 1 when adding the {counter} tag in the email being sent to the customer.
You can only reset the counter, as it’s really part of the sales statistics.
