{total_tax} rounded to three decimal places instead of two

The amount returned by the {total_tax} email tag is shown to three decimal places (see example below). Can you please let me know if there is something I need to do in order for only two decimal places to be shown?

Here is an example taken from a user email:

The Paddler’s Guide to New South Wales x 1 – $39.95 (AUD)

Shipping: 0

Includes GST: 3.632

Total: 39.95
