TLS problem with WP eStore?

I sell my files via Amazon, using the Amazon plugin.

Amazon gave me the following message:

We are in the process of updating all AWS Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) endpoints across all AWS regions to Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2 by March 31, 2021 . In order to avoid an interruption in service, we encourage you to act now, by ensuring that you connect to AWS FIPS endpoints at a TLS version of 1.2. If your client applications fail to support TLS 1.2 it will result in connection failures when TLS versions below 1.2 are no longer supported.

Do I have to worry about this, or does the store continue working after March 2021?

• TLS is a server related issue (WordPress and eStore are applications), so as long as your hosting provider keeps up with things, you will be fine.

   

• The current TLS version is 1.3 (since August 2018) and TLS 1.2 is simply being stated as being the minimum version that AWS will support.

   

• The “official” end-of-life for TLS 1.2 was March 2020. Think of TLS 1.2 like Windows 7 and TLS 1.1 like Windows XP… some people still use it.
