Is there a tip or trick to getting the eStore email with download link past the AOL filters? I’ve tested using a non AOL email address and everything works fine.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Anna Marie

The emails are sent immediately by the plugin. I am not sure why AOL takes a bit longer to deliver the emails to the mail client.

My client is saying that they don’t get delivered at all. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and a possible solution to make it so they aren’t blocked completely.

If the emails are getting blocked by AOL and not other mail client (e.g. gmail) then that would mean that the emails are getting sent out fine but AOL’s filter is blocking is as a spam.

When an email gets blocked by a mail client the first thing you need to look at is the “From email address”. Is this email address known to send spams? The mail clients have a big list of email addresses that have a history of doing things on the dark side and it treats emails from those address differently. The other thing to look at is the subject of the email (is it something that sounds a little spammy?)

Thank you for your help, it sounds like we need to be contacting AOL to see what’s going on. Other emails are getting sent and delivered fine. His domain is new so it shouldn’t be on the blocked list.

    Thanks again,

    Anna Marie
