When I add a product to estore and add a Thumbnail Target URL under ” additional product details” so that visitors can see a full image when they click on the thumbnail, it doesn’t work when I click on the thumbnail. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Please help!

    Best regards

    Anna

    The link : [http://genanvendt.dk/traekasser/]

When ever I try to insert a URL, I get this message:

The URL specified in the “Thumbnail Target URL” field does not seem to be a valid URL! Please check this value again:

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Can you please try disabling the “Enable Lightbox effect on Images” checkbox in the eStore settings to see if this at least loads the full image page?

Regarding the URL error warning… If you know that the URL is correct then you can ignore that error message (it will not harm your site). It is just checking to see if the URL is correct or not but obviously something on your server is blocking the method used to do the checking so it is showing the warning regardless.

You seem to have another lightbox plugin that is taking over and converting all of your images on the page to use lightbox. I think its the “auto thickbox plugin” that is doing it. Its not good to use a plugin that just converts all of your images on the site to lightbox (unless that is what you really want). If that is what you want then peter’s suggestion will help as that will turn off the lightbox of eStore and your other plugin can then show the images using their lightbox.

Thank you so much!!! I deactivated the lightbox plugin and now its working. But is it possible to have the picture open in a new window?

You are using the latest version of WordPress and all other plugins correct?

It is likely that you have a bad plugin that is breaking the media uploader function. Can you please do the following plugin test to identify where it is coming from?

As a temporary workaround, you can upload the image using the standard WordPress media library then use the URL of the image in that thumbnail URL field. Here is a tutorial on how to use the WordPress’s media library:
