Hi
i have an issue with a new customer who bought a product today. First issue was, payment was sent via paypal but shop doesnt recognize the sell. I create a manuell checkout fot this client and set this payment to PAID after this. Now he was able to create a new download link via emember. But if he click on this link he gets following message:
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The download link (see browser address bar) couldn’t be found in the wp_eStore database.
I turn on debug but there is no entry about this access. On the other way, i created a download link via admin panel and this log was created successfully. So my question is: How to edit or add this product to the database so my client was able to get updates in future?
Thank for your attention.
Just for clarification, for the specific product ID the customer purchased:
* The original link sent to the customer gives the error.
* You *can* successfully use the Admin Functions to create a download link, which works?
* But if you were to create and send the customer another link, does that work?
* Have you tried the link originally sent to the customer?
If the answer to the second question is “yes,” it may be a case of the customer’s email client not fully rendering the link into a proper “clickable” URL. The solution for this is for the customer to copy and paste the entire link from the email into their browser’s address bar.
