I’ve tried my best but I just can’t figure it out.
No matter how many time I made an order and pay via paypal, it will end up with no commission to my affiliate account.
And even when I test the pay via Cash or Bank Transfer option, I still can’t figure it out how to manually award the referrer.
I’ve tried to use ‘Sale Data’ Page’s Manual Commission Award, however, everytime I tried to submit the award manually, nothing happens to the field below. No any commission paid to the referrer ID i’ve put in.
Please do kindly help me fix this. I’m using this plugin along with the eStore and has activated the integrate plugin that I downloaded from your site. I also make sure to myself to click the radio box on the ‘Enable 3rd Party Cart’ option, but still nothing work.
BTW, if this problem fix, i have another problem to ask you. I just want to know how to allow the plugin to not include the shipping fees when calculated the commission. Or if it is impossible, does it have anyway to disable the auto commission when customer pays via PayPal so I can manually award the commission later?
Thank you very much, please help.December 10, 2010 at 7:49 pm #27260

I just checked your site and it doesn’t look like you are using the WP eStore plugin as mentioned in the previous post. Which shopping cart plugin are you using and which integration documentation did you follow? Have you recently updated the affiliate plugin? If not it is a good idea to do so from here:December 11, 2010 at 4:53 am #27262
Ooppps, It’s my fault. I use eShop by Rich along with wp affiliate platform and I’ve already followed the eShop integrate instruction by downloading and activating the integrating plugin.
I have just purchased my wp-affiliate plugin yesterday so I don’t think I do need to upgrade anything. But as you mentioned, I will request the upgrade and let you know if that fix.

Have already upgraded the plugin but still nothing good happen. I still can manually award commission using the form under ‘Sale Data’ menu. I’m I doing something wrong here? I don’t really sure what to put in ‘Item ID’ field. Is it a code I use for the product? Let just say the product’s sku that I have to fill when I add the new product with eShop?
Please do kindly help me out. I really have to fix this in hurry for my shop to be opened in time.
Thank you.December 11, 2010 at 5:38 am #27264
I mean, I still can ‘not’ manually award commission.
Sorry for my bad English, I’ven slept for like over a day to try to make everything work so my brain is now damaged. LOL.December 11, 2010 at 10:18 pm #27265

I will send you an email to get site access so I can check this out.December 11, 2010 at 10:52 pm #27266
Yes, I have the latest version of the eShop plugin.
I’ve already filled the information in the form you referred to in the email. Please do kindly take time and check for me.
Thank you very much. Your support is the best!December 13, 2010 at 6:14 am #27267
I’ve done the upgrade and it seems to see some advances now.
However, the new issues are happen. The first one is whenever I try the full shopping cart and choose to pay via Cash or Bank Transfer option, the commission will automatically added to the affiliate even if the buyer doesn’t pay for the item yet. This is going to be serious problem later.
For the Paypal payment, everything seems to work fine. The commission added automatically after the customer paid their money.
The second issue I want to ask for help is, are there anyway to not include the shipping fee in the total cost before deducting the commission? Now, the commission is based on the total cost + shipping fee. My website ships world wide and the shipping fee is kinda expensive, some item raise up to $30 USD. If I allow the shipping fee to be also counted for the commission, I’m sure will lost a fortune. This problem occurs both when the customer choose Paypal as the payment method or even the automatically commission awarded of the Cash and Bank option at the moment.
Thank you very much for your help.December 13, 2010 at 8:45 am #27268
The customers are awarded the commission as soon as they checkout assuming that they will pay you since they made a purchase. If they don’t pay you then you can go to the “Sales Data” menu and delete the commission.
“The commission amount is based on the Total amount rather than the sub-total amount” – This one should be easy to fix. Simply contact the eShop plugin author and tell him that in the plugin he should pass the “Subtotal” amount as the sale amount rather than the “Total” amount. The plugin calculates the commisison based on what the eShop plugin tells it to do. So if that plugin sends the subtotal amount (amount without the shipping) then the affiliate plugin will calculate the shipping based on the subtotal amount.December 13, 2010 at 12:25 pm #27269
Thank you very much for your answer.
I have one more question. Is it possible for me to config the commission award to only awarded by me, not automatically, in every payment method?
Can I just fix the way the eShop calculate the total amount by myself? If possible, it’s going to be a lot less complicate because I’m not really sure if Rich will take a look on my request or not – or if yes, I still don’t know when. Would you mind to just point me out where should the code be and let me handle the less by myself?
Thank you.December 13, 2010 at 3:40 pm #27270
With Rich help, I seem to figure it out now. (Totally thanks to Rich for the ‘Subtotal’ change and Ivy and the gang for the fix of my first problem).
Without you guys, I just can’t seem to know what to do.
For others who need this ‘Subtotal’ fix, please refer to the link below.
