"The input media format is invalid"

I had a customer purchase an mp3 from my store and claims that she couldn’t download the file when she received the link after completing the purchase. SHe kept getting the following error message:

“The input media format is invalid”

I tested the generated links and it downloads just fine on my computer (automatically launches itunes).

Even when I generated a whole new link for her through estore, still gave her the same error message. She claims that she has never had an issue downloading MP3s before.

Can anyone give me feedback on this?

It means the customer’s version of Windows Media Player doesn’t like your iTunes compatible MP3 file… more or less…

That, or there is “just enough” of a problem for WMP not to like it.
