eMember – the avatar image in edit profile not editable

Hi, I’ve a problem with the upload of the avatar image.

If new member create a new account then when he want to edit his avatar the button “upload” , The button temporaly changes in “uploading…” then stop it but don’t charge the image.

Why?

Which is the correct size? the extension?

What version of eMember are you using? Can you please share details of a test account so we can log in as a member and see the issue?

We need the username and password for a member account so we can access the issue. All you need to do is create a test member in the admin dashboard of the eMember. Then send use the user name and password. You also didn’t tell us what version of eMember you are using.

Hi, I don’t know why but, I have edited my image, in the profile I can see it well, but when I see the comment there isn’t any image…

The profile image that you use in eMember is not the same as the user’s Gravatar image that WordPress use in the comments. The Gravatar image comes from gravatar.com and eMember has no control over that. However, you can tell eMember to use the Gravatar image in profile rather than the uploaded image. Simply check the “Use Gravatar Image in Profile” option in eMember settings to tell eMember to use the standard Gravatar image.

I can synchronize wordpress and emember only with gravatar.com?

What I meant is the the avatars that gets shown in WordPress comments come from gravatar.com (this is the default behavior of WordPress). We are looking into an option that we can introduce to change the default avatar with eMember’s profile image.

Hi Guys,

I’m having the same issue. When I go to “Update Profile” and upload an avatar image, it uploads it, appears to do it’s thing, but then I can’t see the image. Any help would be appreciated. Can you let me know where I can send you a login so you can take a look?
