Is it possible to create text links that behave like buy now buttons? I generally like to surround some of my buy now buttons with “call to action” text that the prospect can click on.
October 3, 2011 at 1:09 am #37234adminKeymasterYes, there is a way to create a text link that behaves like a “Buy Now” button (handy for your sales page).Details on eStore’s Text Link Buy Feature can be found here:
If you need download now feature then you can use the following addon:

May 10, 2013 at 4:59 pm #37235lubsmithMemberI have a related question…
I have both PayPal and Authorize.net set up as payment options in WP eStore (6.9.0.2). I am also using text purchase links on this web page:
What happens is that when someone clicks on the text link they are automatically redirected to PayPal checkout. They are never given an option to choose Authorize.net as a checkout option.
Is there a way to make that option work with a text link?
Thanks,
Julie
May 10, 2013 at 10:47 pm #37236adminKeymasterYou are using the standard “Buy Now” feature of eStore plugin. The buy now feature works for the PayPal gateway by default.
You will need to make one of the following modifications to allow your customers choose which gateway to use for payment.
Option 1
Add another buy now button on your landing page for the authorize.net gateway (you can add this button below the existing PayPal buy now button). The following documentation shows you how to do that:

Option 2
Use the standard shopping cart feature of the eStore plugin. This way you will have an add to cart button on your landing page. Your customers will use that button to add the product to the shopping cart. Next, they will be able to choose which payment gateway to checkout with and then checkout. The following documentation shows you how to create an add to cart button:
