Test Transaction

Hey guys – I am back trying to figure out why no payment/ transactions emails are being sent after I do a “real” test. Right now I am making my content five cents and going thru and paying this so I can see if each thing I try is working…

Is there a way to do a “test transaction” instead?

Thanks – not working for me. Not sure why – but I am getting closer to the solution. Somehow just now in my latest test in which i made a real payment I got my thankyou email just did not take me to the right page… feel I am almost there… whew.

ok – new issue. I am getting my thankyou email – now when I click the link I am recieving it is taking me to 404 not found page. I have re-checked all the boxes in the manage “Digital Content Details”

The link does work –

the downloadable box is unchecked

the pay-per-view link is checked ( I have a short film I am trying to sell)

Now when I click the paypal button to go and try a test payment I am seeing this:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I can add a product, checkout and land on the PayPal payment page fine (could have been a temporary issue with the server). Are you still seeing this error?
