Template 2 Center Alignment in Single Post

I’m having trouble getting the Template 2 Gallery to align to the center of my single post.

I’m using WP Theme 2010, and have copied and pasted several of the recommended custom css codes referenced in other posts into the WP custom css plugin itself, but none seem to work, and in hindsight, they may not actually be designed to solve this particular problem (the posts all reference different templates).

I know it’s me who’s doing something wrong, so any help is appreciated, thanks!

I found a bit of a workaround using <div> yada yada, but it’s not center aligned so much as it is just nudged and eyeballed into place.

The coding I used was:

<div style=”margin-left: 50px; margin-right: 50px; width: 600px;”>[WPS_photo_gallery id=”1″]</div>
