Hi, I recently switched to a server, and now registration links which are sent to customers aren’t working. I can still manually create a login and password, so it’d not a dire need, but would prefer to figure out what the problem might be, rather then manually creating accounts each time.
I am guessing that it might have to do with file permissions or possibly something not set up on the server which needs to be setup. All files are 644 and directories are 755.
Suggestions?

September 7, 2011 at 12:27 am #36284adminKeymasterThank you. That looks like the PHP session on this new server is not working. Please contact your hosting provider to fix the PHP session on this server. This article might help you:

September 8, 2011 at 4:08 am #36287adminKeymasterThat session test only proves that you can store the variable in the session. It doesn’t mean that the variable is actually getting stored in a persistent manner so it can be used on other pages of the site (this is a common mistake the hosting providers make).
Are you using the eStore plugin by any chance?
September 8, 2011 at 4:54 am #36288SpittMemberyes, I have the WP-eStore, WP-Affiliate, and WP-Subscription plugins installed.
September 8, 2011 at 10:18 am #36289adminKeymasterIt is easy to test the session thing with estore. Please post a link to a page where you have an add to cart button and i will test
September 8, 2011 at 5:35 pm #36290SpittMemberweird, I can’t make an item to sell. All the items I have are simply signups for subscriptions.
We are running Ubuntu. What should be done to make this work? The other post you mentioned, seems to contain outdated information, which is why I ask again.
September 8, 2011 at 5:37 pm #36291SpittMemberI just made one with the already created products…
September 9, 2011 at 1:45 am #36292adminKeymasterThank you, I did some test and it doesn’t look like a SESSION issue so I have sent you an email to get site access so I can investigate this further.
September 14, 2011 at 5:00 am #36293adminKeymasterOkay looks like you have a plugin or some other .htaccess protection which is removing/erasing any HTTP GET parameter value.
Please do the test mentioned here:
