A few days ago I ran across a post detailing something to add to the [member_protected] tag to suppress the display of the message if the user does not have permission to view the content. Nothing displays, instead of the error message.
Of course, now that I have a use for it, I can’t find the post.
Can you help? Thanks!

Poked around a bit more and found this addition to the “protected” shortcode, which seems to work as I want:
[emember_protected for=3 do_not_show_restricted_msg=1]
The “msg” doesn’t seem to have an effect if changed or deleted. Should it stay?
Thanks.

Hi,
This page explains the shortcode you are referring to above:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-protect-a-section-of-a-post-or-page-88
(see the “Section Protection without the “Content is protected” Message” section)
Thanks, Peter. I should have know this was already detailed…
