By when can I expect the support for mediaelement.js player included in wordpress 3.6? Instead of using flowplayer or jwplayer?

Hi, It’s already a built-in player in the core WordPress. So if you really want to embed a video with mediaelement player you can do so by following the instructions here:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Video_Shortcode

Currently we are using Flowplayer in the plugin because we find it more reliable and offers more feature.

Hi, We will only add it if we need to in the future. At the moment we don’t have any plans with it.

We have some shortcodes that use media element. You can find the shortcodes under the “HTML5 Overlay Display Settings” section of the following documentation:
