Is there a way to do this?

Meaning that in eStore, we need to be able to specify whether the membership level is an additional one or a replacement of the primary one when emember has multiple membership levels activated.

Hi, there is no such option at the moment. Can you please explain a bit more about your setup so I know what you are trying to do?

I have seen others posted with similar requests so I guess it is not that uncommon.

It is like a basic membership site with additional options on top, each controlling specific set of content within the site.

    To make this possible,

    1. primary membership should stay as-is even when add-on memberships are added

    2. functions / shortcodes are needed to tell if a specific membership level is active or not

My guess that membership levels need an additional field to classify whether they are primary membership level which behaves like what we have now, and secondary membership level which behaves like add-ons.

This one is a little tricky. You basically want to add the new levels as secondary levels all the time. I think the best option to handle this would be via an eMember addon.

Another angle to tackle the concept is to allow subscriptions in estore to link to not a membership level but a hidden user/custom field within the user profile. That will work too.

I like the idea of an eMember addon.

Eager to get it whenever it is available. XD
