Stripe Metadata Problem – Not Sending Product Description to Stripe

Hi There,

I’m having an issue with the payment gateway bundle not sending the product info/description metadata to Stripe. So, I’m unable to figure out what people have purchased from Stripe unlike PayPal which always lists the cost, quantity and the product (in the payment details).

For instance, in the payment details of Stripe it says…

Description: Charge for [test@yoursite.com]

The description always contains the email address of the purchaser but there is no mention of the product sold. Also, the email receipt that is being sent to the customer doesn’t mention the product either. It says the same thing: Charge for [test@yoursite.com]

On the /collect-details/ page, the product is being shown in the cart but it is not being sent to Stripe after that. And I have been using your plugin with PayPal for years now without issues so I know it’s working in that case (and I really love your plugin BTW). How can I fix this so that the product name/description is being properly sent to Stripe?
