If you are using the Payment Gateway Bundle, on top of eStore, then Affiliate Platform would integrate with Stripe, by way of eStore:

If you are using an e-commerce plugin that we integrate with and that plugin has Stripe checkout then it will work fine too.

greetings! i am using woocommerce and their stripe extension along with your newest version of wp affiliate platform. i am at the point where woocomerce processes a sale and the affiliate is awarded the commission. we would like to integrate stripe connect so commissions are paid via stripe but i am unsure how this would work with the affiliate plugin. as of now when the sale processes and commission is awarded i am unsure how to actually pay the commission. any insight would be greatly appreciated!

You can send the commission to your affiliates however you want. The commission sending is a manual task. It can’t automatically send commission via Stripe. The plugin creates a payment report file for you. You can then send commission using any of the following method:

    1) Bank Transfer

    2) PayPal

    3) Cheque

    4) Any other way you can send money

Thank you for your quick reply, I really appreciate it. So what I thought was possible is not. You saved me a lot of thinking about it! So just clarify, no matter what the payment method chosen, commissions are still paid manually, there is no automatic commission processing through the plugin. Is this correct? Does your Payment Gateway Bundle, on top of eStore, behave any differently when it comes to automatic payments via stripe?

Would it make sense to just have one monthly payment date for commissions, run the report on that date, and simply pay them?

    Thanks again for your reply!

@jackieboy, There is no option to automatically pay the affiliates via Stripe at the moment. The easiest way you can do this is by sending a PayPal mass payment:

Correct. You should feel uncomfortable, if your website is automatically giving out money to strangers, without your approval!

The Payment Gateway Bundle is only used to ACCEPT payments from customers.

Would it make sense to just have one monthly payment date for commissions, run the report on that date, and simply pay them?

Yes. That is the normal procedure.
