Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP Lightbox Ultimate › Strip theme chrome before presenting HTML in popup
I am looking to use Lightbox Ultimate for presenting a popup with simple notes. However, I am finding that all content I show includes all the extra theme chrome. Side bars, headers, footers, etc. I am wondering if there is any mechanism with WP Lightbox to address this? Perhaps a different template to use? Or is my only option to customize the theme to get a chromeless page to put into the popup?
Thanks!
Gordon
Hi, Are you referring to inline HTML or external page popup? Please provide a link to the page so I can see which shortcode you are using.
The “Notes” link here is what I have been playing with. Currently I am using the “Types” addin to create the “Note” post type, but I am in no way married to that solution. Anything that results in the popup containing nothing but that body text, without all the side bars and other stuff is what I am looking for.
Thanks!
Gordon

Thanks for sharing the link. I believe you are using our external page popup shortcode. It allows you to open a remote page in lightbox. The only issue is that the page will look exactly like you see it in your browser window.
Have you tried our inline HTML popup feature (Inline HTML Display in Overlay section)?
