Hi Amin,
A client who uses eStore contacted me with an emergency today. Her checkout page was saying $0 for some of her products. The problem is that she’s put line break tags in many of her product names (though I’m sure I told her not to do that).
Anyway, there are dozens of product names to clean up. I’m looking for the fastest way to do it.
Is there any way to modify the eStore plugin that will force any code put in the Product Name field to be stripped out, so it doesn’t play havoc with the system? It would help make it fool-proof for people who aren’t as geeky as me.
Line break tags in the Product name should not cause an issue. It will just show the characters as the product name field is text only.
Anyway, I have added a strip tag functions so it will strip all HTML code used in the product name field.
Wow, great! I’ll grab an update. Thanks very much.
Oh, the line breaks cause problems with the checkout page and the PayPal payment page. I think that’s the cause, anyway.
Okies… well now it shouldn’t as it will always strip any HTML from the product name.
