Hi,
My store has worked correctly until the past week. This is what is happening:
On this page: http://mywpworks.com/store clicking the “Buy Now” button does not take you to PayPal but back to that page. There are 3 products there, and it happens on all 3.
On these pages:
http://mywpworks.com/store/conquer-contact-form-7/
http://mywpworks.com/store/my-calendar-plugin-beginners-guide/
http://mywpworks.com/store/subscribe2-ebook/
a click on the “Buy Now” button directs you to the PayPal Sandbox page.
Again, the plugin worked and suddenly stopped.
Thanks,
Debbie

Uncheck the box.
November 7, 2010 at 6:12 pm #26203dhancheyMemberThank you VERY much, the store is now working again on the individual pages.
However, on this page: http://mywpworks.com/store clicking the “Buy Now” button does not take you to PayPal but back to that page. There are 3 products there, and it happens on all 3.
Any ideas on that one?
Thanks again,
Debbie
November 7, 2010 at 6:25 pm #26204wzpModeratorIf you took a product from a page that does have a working buy now button, and put it on *that* page, does the buy now for that (working) product suddenly stop working?
November 7, 2010 at 11:33 pm #26205dhancheyMemberI created a category and put this code:
wp_eStore_category_products:category_id:1:end
on the store page. There are 3 products in the category.
When I set it up, everything worked.
Then I checked the sandbox feature button. Doing this caused the individual product pages to go to PayPal sandbox. Unchecking corrected them, but now the store page “Buy Now” buttons do not go to PayPal. The page acts like it is reloading, but goes right back to the store page.
I checked the products, and they are set up in this category.
Any ideas?
November 8, 2010 at 1:13 am #26206amin007ParticipantVery weird… the “action” parameter of the buttons are empty! Have you modified any code in the plugin?
November 8, 2010 at 1:33 am #26207dhancheyMemberNot on purpose
I did fool with my settings some. How about I just set up a new category? Would that fix it?
November 9, 2010 at 12:15 am #26208amin007ParticipantTry it out and let me know how it goes.
November 9, 2010 at 11:27 am #26209dhancheyMemberNo, that did not fix it. Any other ideas?
November 9, 2010 at 1:21 pm #26210wzpModeratorJust which settings did you “fool with some?”
November 10, 2010 at 1:28 am #26211dhancheyMemberWhere are the directions to set up a shopping cart? I think I need to do that. I’ve never used a store page before. It seems that clicking the Buy Now button on the Store page is sending the buyer to the checkout page, except that’s not set up.
Does that make sense?
Just guessing here…

The homepage is the only place I display the add to cart buttons. I have code to display cart when not empty just below. When clicked on it just refreshes the page. It has been working fine until now. enable sand box is unchecked. I have erased and added the buttons twice now and it still is not working. Any suggestions?
January 31, 2012 at 12:29 am #26214PeterMemberHi,
“I have code to display cart when not empty just below”
Which shortcode are you using to do this?
Have you made any modifications to the eStore plugin?
January 31, 2012 at 12:47 am #26215stevenchanceyMemberThis is the code in question [wp_eStore_cart_when_not_empty]. No i have not modified wp eStore.
