ISSUE: A majority of the time, say 75-80%, I get an error (“No Results Found”) when I attempt to manually stamp a PDF. Occasionally a manual stamping is successful.
DETAILS: I’m developing an eCommerce site with downloadable PDF products. Stamper version 4.4.0 and eStore version 7.07 are currently installed. I have not yet gotten to the point of testing automated transactions and stamping. I am starting to go through the Stamping Error Checklist to troubleshoot and right away began to wonder if I am using PDF files that are incompatible with the Stamper.

QUESTION: Is this method of creating a PDF file compatible with the Stamper? I currently do not own a professional Adobe product.
If the file were truly “incompatible,” you would have the same (error) results, each and every time that you repeatedly stamp the same file. But because you say that 20% of the time it works, then there must be some kind of resource issue going on. Please finish going through the checklists.
Also, what is the typical size and complexity of the PDF files you are trying to stamp?
Thank you. It seemed logical to me that if they get stamped sometimes the PDF files are probably ok, but I thought it best to check. I will continue with the checklists.
The size of the PDF files are 2.2 to 2.8 MB each. I’m not sure what constitutes a complex PDF file but each file is comprised of original Word text pages, original Excel data tables, plus a cover photo. Pretty straight forward as far as I know.
