Hi folks,
I am using this in conjunction with the WP eStore plugin. The eStore purchase process goes fine when the Stamper is not running (Stamp the PDF File under AddOn Settings is unchecked) and an email with secure url is delivered to purchaser. When I do use it, the purchase process seems to go through ok, but the email with secure url is NOT delivered and the stamped-files folder is empty.
I have gone through the checklist here and gotten the same result:
Additionally, when I tried manually stamping a file, I got the following error:
tFPDF error: mbstring extension is not available
I was able to get the plugins to work fine on another server, so I’m thinking it is a server permissioning error, but I cannot isolate it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Turns out it was a PHP configuration thing. In speaking w/ our server admin, he confirmed that mbstring is not on by default:
http://php.net/manual/en/mbstring.installation.php
He thinks it may be installed for some pre-canned distros, but on ours since it is custom build. Once he installed it the plugin worked like a charm.
Think you could update your minimum requirements doc and Checker plugin?
Might save others a few hours of their lives troubleshooting.
Updated the min requirements document.
