eStore not adding items to cart correctly

I am using the latest version of the eStore plugin to add items on a page with add to cart buttons.

When a button is pressed the items goes in the cart, but if a second item is added the first is replaced by the second, completely removing the previous item.

Also, I have set a checkout page, with the cart shortcode, but it always says that the cart is empty, even if items have been added on product pages. Click on the View Cart link in the sidebar cart to see what I mean.

Any heklp to resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated.
