I created a squeeze page form to download a free ebook or similar file, and I opted to have it use the MailChimp autoresponder to capture emails and opt people into my email list when they enter their name/email and hit download. I’m testing it with my emails, and the email to confirm subscription comes through to my inbox, along with the confirmation email. But I don’t receive the actual email that provides the link to the ebook (this was actually working earlier before I integrated the MailChimp part). And if I use an email address that’s already opted into the email list, I don’t receive anything to my inbox. Meanwhile the sales count keeps going up.
I actually just received one of the test emails – is it possible that because I’m using MailChimp’s auto responder that the delivery of the files is being delayed a few hours? How can I fix it so that it’s immediate and they receive the email immediately upon opting into the email list? Thx

But I just realized that the email message to double opt-into the email list, and email with the file link are arriving at the same time – how do I fix that? I want them to opt into the list as a way to receive the free download.
Also – is there a way to change the subject line of the email, where it says “Free Download Link”, and the body of the email?

“I want them to opt into the list as a way to receive the free download” – eStore does not have this ability. I have plans to work something out but the issue is that AWeber does not have a secure HTTP POST option to notify the plugin after an opt-in confirmation. The only option it has at the moment is HTTP GET.

Has there been any development on the issue described above? I am also making an ebook available using the eStore plugin and MailChimp, and ideally I would like te set it up so that people opting in must first confirm their MailChimp subscription BEFORE they get the encrypted download link.
I look forwards to hear from on whether this important change is yet possible to make.
thank you.
