Specifying Australian GST on shipping charges

I’m using eStore to sell both physical and digital products, linked to PayPal. GST (ie Tax called GST in Au) needs to apply to all charges – ie for the product AND for the shipping. At the moment, the GST can only be specified for the product and NOT for the shipping. ie it only seems to be able to be shown in the sales process and on PayPal for the product. How can this be changed to either have GST added to the shipping charge within eMember (neat and best solution) or have it specified on the PayPal receipts sent to the customer that the shipping included GST (messy and not best solution).

Hi Richard, eStore has a feature to calculate tax on the shipping amount. You can enable this feature from the settings menu of the plugin. Go to eStore settings area and check the “Calculate Tax on Shipping Amount” field to enable tax calculation on shipping. If you don’t see this field in eStore settings then download a new copy of the eStore plugin from here:
