I have installed simple shopping cart and tried to add code as instructed, I have checked in various themes but it simply does not show on page or post.

Using Photolistic theme.

Really unsure which way to go with this as I have had Simple shopping cart working before with absolutely no problem.

What shortcode are you using? Please switch to any of the WordPress’s default theme (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 etc.) then post a link to the page where you have the add to cart button shortcode so I can check it.
