I have been using the Simple Shopping Cart for a few months now, and it works great. Recently installed Collect Customer Input; also works great. My website is for a non-profit community organization and from time to time we sell things (ornaments at Christmas time, tickets to sponsored events, tshirts, etc.) We also use it to collect member dues. Recently we’ve had the need to collect customer input (name, email, phone no.) from users paying member dues. How can I use the customer input fields only on the dues shopping cart, and not have them show up on the sales shopping carts (we collect info from PayPal on sales). The group that handles membership requires the name, email, phone number info but should not have access to the PayPal account.
Sorry if this is a dumb question… I’ve been all over the settings options .
You’d need to use 2 distinct “instances” of the plugins, installed on separate WordPress instances (sites). For instance:
MyOrganization.org/main is the main site, with the donation/dues cart.
MyOrganization.org/store is the merchandise site, with the “sell things” cart.
