Silver / Gold Membership Expiracy, How to set their rights like free member ?

I have 3 membership level: Free – never expire, and Silver/Gold which expire in 30 days. After expire I want the Silver/Gold member to have Free member access rights. How can I do this ? Thanks for your help

Use the “Auto Upgrade” feature (yes auto upgrade can be used to auto downgrade too). Go to

“members”->”auto upgrade” menu then set the silver and gold member to go to “Free” member after 30 days of signup.

You can also manually change the membership levels.

Using Auto Upgrade will works only when the status of account remain “ACTIVE” (it will automatically demote to Free after 30 days.), however when the account status is already “EXPIRED”, then membership become FREE but the status is still EXPIRED, and they cannot have free member access rights.

Don’t set a expiry date in your case. Just set it so the membership level gets changed to “Free Member” after 30 days. In your scenario you don’t have to expire the accounts because as soon as their account gets changed to free membership they can’t access the silver/gold content anymore.
