Is there a way to set the way the member lists are alphabetized? Normally, they are based on entry, but I want to show the list based on the company name? Is there a way to set it up that way?
I am guessing you are talking about the profile extended addon (member directory).
The following post has discussion on a technique that you can use to get the result you are after:
Okay, I tried following these directions, but all I get is a blank page? I’ve done it a number of ways:
1. Created a new page and put the [http://example.com/member-directory/?orderby=last_name&order=asc] with my url, no dice.
2. Created a menu link and put in the tag (without the brackets) no dice.
Every time I try to make this happen, it either just shows a page with the code or nothing? Am I missing something?
Please the actual link to the member directory page so I can inspect it.
