MemberHi,
I’m trying to embed a Youtube video but the shortcode suggested in the “How to Embed a Youtube Video/Playlist with Lightbox Ultimate Plugin” document (option 3) just appears on the webpage rather than an anchor image.
Here is a link to the webpage [http://www.pinktulip-productions.co.uk/tv-commercials/]
Any help would be gratefully received.

MemberHi, You have a typo in the shortcode that you entered.
It appears that you may be missing a space between “wp_lightbox_ultimate_youtube_video_embed” and “videoid”.
Can you try modifying your shortcode to include the space and see if that fixes it?

MemberHi Peter, thanks for your reply.
I’ve added the space as suggested but it’s still the same.
The video on the left of the page works fine using this code – [wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gcd_QYDTa0″ width=720 height=440 description=”” autoplay=”1″ fullscreen=”0″ show_suggested_video=”0″ source=”http://www.pinktulip-productions.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/LanesPlaceholder.png” title=””]
The reason for trying the different code suggested in the reference guide is that I need to stop the Youtube suggestions coming up at the end of the video and when I add the relative code to do this to the above code, it makes no difference.

ModeratorHi, I just found out that you are using Lightbox Ultimate version 1.5.5. There is a good chance that the new YouTube shortcode you are trying to use was added in a later version than the one you are currently using. Please get a fresh copy of the plugin from here and then try again:

MemberHi,
Thanks for your help. The update solved the problem but now I can’t get the video to auto play. Could you have a look and see what you think? – http://www.pinktulip-productions.co.uk/tv-commercials

ModeratorHi, I just checked the source code of your page. It looks like somehow the HTML code for the shortcode got formatted with so many
#038;
characters.Before you insert the shortcode please copy and paste it to a notepad (it will remove any formatting). Now copy the shortcode from your notepad and paste it to the visual post/page editor.
There is also a “Paste as plain text” option in the Visual editor that you can use to remove any text formatting.
