Thanks for your response.
I’m still having trouble aligning it to the left. Could you tell me if I need to create a new css style for this? and if so what is the code? (sorry not that great with css & coding)
<p style=”text-align: left;”><!–show-wp-shopping-cart–></p>
is what I tried.
I’m using a theme and am not sure what to add to the css in the editor.
thanks for any more help.December 9, 2009 at 7:46 pm #16594

I am using a theme and the RH sidebar column is not big enough for the shopping cart to fit. Is there an easy fix option. I am not even sure what CSS style is. Just assume I know absoluty nothing – I am a click and point kinda gal.
PS I am making progress each day I work something else outMay 29, 2010 at 5:05 am #16596
You can use the compact cart version so it only displays the number of items in your cart and a link to the checkout page rather than the whole cart.
Check the “Show Compact Cart in Widget” field in the settings menu of eStore to enable this on your shopping cart widget.May 29, 2010 at 7:57 am #16597
Thank you Amin007
I have done that. However, now I can’t open the shopping card. I click on view cart however nothing happens. It is stating that there is one item.

Hi, Can you please send me a link to where the issue is happening so I can take a look at it?May 29, 2010 at 8:45 pm #16599
I am not sure which url to give you? Can I email you the username and password to get into the control panel?
Also the widgets are not coming up. I have done something that they have all disappeared and only the ones I am not using are showing???. Please understand I am not an experienced web builder….point and click gal.
thanks heaps. You rock

You just need to specify the URL of your checkout page in the “Checkout Page” field of the settings menu and when you click “view cart” it will take the customer to that page so they can see what they have in the cart and continue checkout.
Just create a page called “Checkout” and put the shortcode that displays the shopping cart on that page. Then use the URL of this page in the “Checkout Page” field of the settings menu.May 30, 2010 at 6:28 am #16601
I did that. However it is still not allowing me to see inside the cart – or to remove any items etc.May 30, 2010 at 9:13 am #16602
You placed a product on that page. You need to place the shopping cart. Please use the following shortcode on that page to display the shopping cart:
Remember, the shortcodes reference page mentioned earlier is your friend for finding shortcodes.
