I would like to confirm if what I am finding is accurate ….
When I add a product to the cart via an ‘Add to Cart’ button on the product’s post or page…. the subsequent title/text link for it when in the shopping cart takes me back to the product’s post or page.
When adding products from a category page using a fancy display for the products I find that the title/text link for them in the shopping cart takes me back to the category page they are a part of…..
Is this what should be happening ?…
thank you…
Yes this is correct. The link points to the page you added that item from.
thanks….
a follow up question…. as I am trying to decide to use your category feature or not…
If I have say 50-100 products…. and I am using this short code…
[wp_eStore_category_products_fancy id=1 style=4]
WIll the link for each individual item in the shopping cart return the user to the relative position on the category page where the product is displayed at OR with lets say with 100 products in the category does the user have to scroll to find the product assuming it isn’t in the top 3 or so in the category list ?
No it won’t return to the relative position for that product.
