I just updated to WordPress 3.1 and everything looks great but I noticed that my shopping cart is not retaining my items as I move throughout my site. Those items do show up when I check out – but they are not retained in my cart as I surf through my site. ANy ideas?

It was a PHP ini file issue. It finally resolved after three calls to my provider.

I am not sure why hosting companies sell hosting accounts where the PHP session hasn’t been setup properly!

This might give you some clue:

What gets me is this was not an issue before the upgrade to WordPress 3.1, so why would it be a php.ini problem showing up all of a sudden?

Please post a link to your site where I can add items. Do you have a caching plugin? when you do an upgrade of WordPress it deletes some folder and downloadable them (kind of like what happens with a plugin when you upgrade them). I am not sure what kind of server setup you have but if by any chance your php.ini file was in such a folder it will need to be put in there.

Please email me at [admin deleted email address] and I’ll give you the username and password to get into my site so you can try to add a product.
