    Question about the Shipping Variations option in Estore.

    I have it set so the flat cost for all products is $6.99 to the US. I have US Priority as one option then I added International adding $7 to that to give me $13.99. Works fine no problems.

    I was wondering though if there was a way for this to show in the order details what they selected from the Shipping Variations? Otherwise I need to add up the order in my head to determine if they indeed selected the correct shipping. Usually easy to tell with a $7 difference for international BUT….what I was thinking about doing is adding a US First Class Shipping to it with a -2 value which would lower the shipping cost to $4.99 to the US. If I do that it works but it doesn’t show in the order detail email or in the customer order detail in Admin. Only way to determine what they chose is to do the math.

    Is this something that could be added?

    Yeah I can add in an option to track the shipping variation selected. I will add an email tag that lets you place the selected shipping variation name for a transaction in the notification email body.

    That would be great! How can we make that happen?

    I added another option for this. You can use the following tag in your email and it will show the selected shipping variation in the place of that tag:

    {shipping_option_selected}

    You can get a new eStore build from here to get this option:

    Hi I have done this and placed {shipping_option_selected} in the email

    However it says default if they pay for shipping and default if they select store pickup

    I have used a base rate of $6.00 and applied 0.001 per item

    Have I done something wrong? Or can you explain why i get default for both ta

    It will say “Default” if one is not selected by the user when they checkout. What is your first shipping variation option?

    Share a link to the page where I can go and check your shipping variations in the cart (that will help me understand what you have done).
