Shipping Variation – Can it calculate amount outomaticly

Ive entered the relevant data for the Shipping Variation Option field.

It works fine but the customer has to select an amount to calculate their shipping.

I am sure some customers will miss this or select the wrong subtotal.

Isnt there a way for this to just be calculated automatically rather than a customer having to do it manually?

Any suggestions would be great.

The shipping variation basically applies a shipping fee (if you specify it), based on the shipping destination the customer selects.

We don’t collect shipping details from customers to make the checkout process quick (unless a payment gateway requires us to collect it). Here is why:

So, selecting the shipping variation (which is a point and click action) is much better than forcing the customer to fill out a form (just so we can apply a shipping).
