Shipping cost added to digital products

I have had this issue since owning the plugin…have tried everything. Please help. Have reviewed all possible solutions that others have been given and nothing is working…

Also reinstalled new version of plugin and did not fix.

Using paypal and tried both using pp shipping and turning that off too.

Hi, Since I don’t know which “possible solutions” you’ve tried I might inadvertently be repeating some things

1) So as a first check please tell us what value you have in the “Item Shipping Cost” field for each of the digital products.

2) Post a link to the page where I can go and add a digital product to the cart and checkout to see what it does.

3) Are you using PayPal profile based shipping?

I am having the same problem – customer being charged a shipping charge for a digital download. Here are some screenshots:

You are using PayPal’s profile based shipping in which case PayPal takes over the full shipping charge control from eStore. This post has more info and possible workarounds for you:

3. Yes I am using PP profile based shipping…

…and as a side note I have tried all of your latest options and none of them have since worked.

I just added the “100+1 Tips Tools & Techniques” ebook and went to PayPal checkout and saw no shipping being applied.

Hi Pam, the eStore you are using on this is slightly older so it doesn’t have some of the new options we mentioned above. Please load a new build of the plugin from here:

I recently did this…updated the software version… but am happy to do it again.
