Sharing PPV link

I am selling videos via PPV and I want my customers to have access to them well into the foreseeable future. Is there anyway to prevent the customer from forwarding the email they get with the encrypted link to other people? Otherwise, folks who did not pay for the video will get to see it.

There is no cost effective way to prevent email forwarding. You might want to consider the use of a membership plugin, like eMember to control unlimited link access by the same person. But again, that does not prevent users from sharing account information.

As an alternative, you could also set the links to expire periodically, then if the buyer requires future access to “fresh links,” they can have eStore automagically email new links to them.

Thanks so much for your reply. I thought perhaps you could limit the the access by IP.

I would very much like to use eMember but I have questions surrounding that .
