I have bought Photo Seller and I’m not yet happy with it. Here are my points so far:
– I get a Fatal error when I try to actualize the cart or by trying to delete the cart: Fatal error: Call to undefined method WPSCart::setLocalPickupStatus() in www/pixelsturm.ch/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-seller/views/cart-wps-new-tabular.php on line 59
– Is there a possibility to define some address fields as mandatory fields if a customer buys products (It seems that only the email field is mandatory)?
– The translation to german is not satisfying. Some phrases are translated totally wrong (ok, I can change them with poedit) and others can’t be translated I guess (example: text within the e-mail shortcodes like {product_details} (example: Product Name, Price) . How can theses words be translated?
– I can define the currency position like „Left with space“. Unfortunately, on e-mails, it then shows something like: CHF 10.00. How to change this?

I am trying to reproduce this issue but I am unable to do it. Can you please provide some steps/details which will help me reproduce it?

Which form are you referring to? The manual checkout form? For the manual checkout form we actually require all fields to be mandatory because we use the “required” html attribute.
Which browser are you using? Can you please send a link to your gallery so we can see this issue for ourselves?

Thank you for your feedback. I have reinstalled the plugin the third time now. The Fatal error disappeared but the problem is, that whenever I make some changes in the settings, something is not working anymore.
It seems that Safari does not check if the fields are mandatory. I have just checked in Firefox and there it works. It would be nice if you could fix the problem for Safari.
Translation: There are so many strings…
– On the cart section: “Cart Totals” instead of the german translation “Total Warenkorb”
– On the cart section, yellow marked section: The country is written in English and can’t be translated in German (Switzerland instead of Schweiz)
– On the cart section, by clicking on the button to clear the cart: “Your Cart is Empty” instead of “Ihr Warenkorb ist leer” (additional problem: there is a button to go back to the gallery overview. Unfortunately, it refers to the overview where you can see all galleries instead of going back to the one gallery where the customer already was).
– In the Shortcode {product_details}: “Product Name” instead of “Produktname”, “Price” instead of “Preis” for all these Shortcodes, it would really be great if we could change the looking of this Shortcode (example: only the product name or only the price or add some text…)
I just saw a new problem: On the cart site where you can choose to go to the pay section or to go back to the gallery: The button to go back refers to the gallery overview where you can choose which gallery you want to see. I think this makes no sence because the customer was already in a certain gallery and he wants to directly go back to this gallery. He should not see all available (password protected) galleries.
Sorry for all the problem description but at the moment I really can’t use your product and it would be nice to be able to use it some day

Can you please be more specific? What exactly isn’t working when you make changes in the settings?

It seems that Safari does not check if the fields are mandatory.
Seems that safari currently is one of the few browsers which doesn’t yet support html5:

They say they plan to in the future. Do you get many customers who appear to be using safari?

Regarding the translation strings – we will try and create another POT file which will include some of the strings which are currently un-translatable and which you can then modify with the correct translations.
4) Ok thanks for the feedback. We will look at improving this behaviour in a future release so that the last gallery visited is the one which people are directed back to.
