eStore 2.7.9.3
After installing via FTP and activating, the Settings screens go to a blank HTML page and do not save any settings. Cannot add any products because it says the initial Settings have not been saved.

ParticipantWordPress version shouldn’t have anything to do with it (The plugin has been tested to work on any WordPress 2.7+ version)
I am suspecting the server… are you using a Windows Server by any chance?

MemberAs a matter of fact it is a Windows server at GoDaddy, IIS7. Is that the problem? Is there a work-around? I tried converting all the .php scripts to Windows file format in NotePad++. I might have missed a few (or that’s not the problem). Any help is greatly appreciated. This is my first WordPress on Windows. I’ve been working with Linux hosting on GoDaddy, but my career background is mostly Windows.

ParticipantHmmm… Windows server could be problematic. I have nothing against a Windows server but I am not a big fan of it
I should be able to look at the issue and give you a workaround though. I will email you to handle this issue.

MemberAmin,
I logged into my FTP and overwrote the existing wp-estore files (all of them). Now my wp-estore settings won’t save. I cannot change product names either. I suspect some disconnect with the database now in one of the config files? Any suggestions ?
Thanks,
Taylor

ParticipantSimply deactivate and delete the existing version of eStore from your WordPress plugins menu. Now, install a fresh version and that will take care of it. This page has detailed upgrade and installation instruction:

MemberI am having an issue as well with saving settings page and had super cache installed recently, but uninstalled that removed plugin and extra files it made as well as removing database entry so not sure if that is related. Also, I am on version 5.74 and think latest is 5.78 but see nowhere to download latest version for free upgrades. My site is not launched yet so definitely want to upgrade before launch as well.
