Settings – Is there a way to hide some of the settings

Is there a way to hide some of the product settings. Some customers will be adding there own products and a lot of the settings wont be applicable. To avoid confusion I would rather they dont see some of the settings at all.

Maybe I can hide or uncomment in one of the php pages in the plugin folder?
