Hi,
I am looking to set up an affiliate for 2 separate products with different commission rates and one product has recurring commissions.
Do I have to set him up as 2 separate affiliates with different commission %’s and cookie life?
On the recurring product, how should I set the cookie life? He may make a sale, then that subscriber drops out for 6 months and then comes back and renews
many thanks
Nick

Are you using eStore with the WP Affiliate platform? If not which cart are you using?
I’m not entirely sure I fully understand your question however if you are using eStore you can specify individual commission rates on a per product basis by setting the “Product Specific Commission” field in the product configuration settings.
The cookie life is set to 21 days by default but you can change this to suit your needs by configuring the “Cookie Life” field in the Affiliate Settings page.
February 28, 2015 at 11:33 pm #46867carylloperMemberIn setting up the commission settings on the WP Affiliate Platform, I selected 20%. Up until recently that commission has worked across all services & products; however, my husband introduced a new service that sells for between $2,500 – $10,000. In this case, we would set a lower commission. Is there a way to set up a different commission for an individual service? Thank you in advance! ~ Caryl
I found this in my search, I assume these steps apply to my request. We are using eStore. Is that correct? …
